Smokers have higher risk of COVID-19 infection - says WHO
I came across messages in whatsapp saying smokers have higher risk of getting COVID-19 infection. To verify the claims I started to search for articles related to smoking in COVID-19. I found Q&A session in WHO site answering question related to smoking leading to COVID-19 infection. Few reasons are coming in contact with your hand more frequently, already damaged lungs, and decreased capacity of lung due to exposure of smoke.
